Sri Lankan Pineapple
Overview
Sri Lankan vanilla is a rare and premium-grade spice, valued for its deep, floral aroma and smooth, creamy flavor. Grown primarily in the central highlands under ideal tropical conditions, our vanilla comes from hand-pollinated Vanilla planifolia orchids. After harvesting, the beans undergo a traditional curing process that enhances their natural oils and aroma—making them highly sought after by gourmet chefs and manufacturers worldwide.
Organic & Sustainable Value
Vanilla cultivation in Sri Lanka is largely organic by nature. Smallholder farmers grow vanilla under forest canopy or mixed-crop systems without synthetic chemicals. The process is labour-intensive and eco-friendly, preserving biodiversity while delivering exceptional quality beans.
